About

Joydrop Wellness was created from a simple belief: It is important to get an understanding about anything that involves your life and your health. Healthcare can become overwhelming quickly.

A person may be preparing for childbirth, just gave birth and dealing with postpartum, facing a serious diagnosis, recovering from a hospital stay, navigating a transplant evaluation, or struggling to obtain medication and follow-up care.

Joydrop Wellness helps individuals and families slow the process down, organize information, monitor the situation, prepare questions, follow up on concerns, and better understand what is happening and what may need to happen next.

“At Joydrop, advocacy is not just a service, it is a responsibility.”

Nichelle also uses her voice to raise awareness about conditions that may affect patients, families, workers, and communities. Her advocacy includes maternal and postpartum safety, patient harm, healthcare access, worker dignity, racial disparities, public policy, and the connection between workplace conditions and the quality of patient care.

Through research, speaking, rallies, legislative advocacy, Joydrop Wellness Insights, and The Sunflower Advocate, she encourages people to examine the facts, ask difficult questions, and seek meaningful improvement.

Our Mission
To inform, advocate, and provide patient-safety support before the next harmful event occurs. We may not control every healthcare outcome, but we can provide clarity, preparation, encouragement, and support.
